Grace amazing

We are not to forget the Law once we have trusted the Savior. Like John the Baptist, its function is to prepare the way of the Lord (see Gal. 3:24). Does the student, after he graduates, forget the knowledge given by his tutor? That knowledge may now be used to instruct lost sinners on why they, too, need the Savior (see Gal. 3:24).

May we go “in the spirit and power of Elijah” as we speak of the “coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.” Make sure you precede the message of grace with the just and holy Law. In doing so, you will make grace amazing.

Malachi 4:4 Remember the Law of Moses, My servant, Which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel, Withthe statutes and judgments.5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
