Pleasure in sin

As we witness, we should remember that there is pleasure in sin for a season. Contrary to the claims of modern evangelism, the world can find happiness without Jesus. The prophet Jeremiah complained to the Lord, “Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why are those happy who deal so treacherously?” (Jer. 12:1). However, this sinful world cannot find righteousness without Jesus, and it is righteousness that they will need on the Day of Wrath (Prov. 11:4).
