Getting away with it

The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. Proverbs 15:3

If that doesn't make you tremble, it should! Johnny Cash wrote a song and some of the lyrics are "you can run on for a long time, but sooner or later God will cut them down". He later says in the "what's done in the dark, will be brought to the light". God sees everything, every deed done, every thought, ever...y intent of the heart. We should have a fear of the Lord. It's healthy. The Bible says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Don't think God is just sitting up in the clouds like some divine genie waiting to grant your every wish, but He is a God of wrath, and judgement, and vengeance belongs to Him. He has appointed a day which He will judge the world in righteousness. Think of it like this, God watches your life like you watch a movie, but He not only sees the actions on the screen, but also every thought you have in your movie is also played out too. So what should a holy, just, and good God due with such a wicked character? But some would argue that God is a God mercy, love, and goodness, and that's true. The only reason you can even take that next breath is because He allows you to. But the very thing most are banking on, His goodness, is the exact thing that's going to condemn you on the day of judgement. Get your heart right with God, and do it today!
